The SW District Staff and the Las Vegas Chapter, our hosts for the August District Meeting, are ready to see your registrations for the meeting. Here’s an update to what we know today and you are encouraged to check the website (www.apicssouthwest.org) to keep up with the registration and hotel reservation process. The agenda for the “summer” meeting is dedicated to assisting the District’s Chapters and members in launching the new Chapter Year and all that entails. We will have a track for newer Chapter Officers (“new” to the BOD or to a position on the BOD) and a separate track for seasoned APICS volunteers who want to take their volunteering to a new level. This meeting is designed to provide that “knowledge gem”, large or small, combined with networking, which will make this the most effective Chapter year ever regardless of where you stand from an experience point-of-view. Please make plans now and register to attend this action and knowledge packed District meeting – SW District and APICS needs everyone’s best thinking and participation!

Registration: Please register for the District Meeting NOW! Go to the District website (www.apicssouthwest.org) and fill in the Registration Form and hit “Send/Return” – that’s the only way we can get an accurate count of attendees, which impacts a number of the planning factors. An added benefit is that an e-mail address list is created from the registrations and you’ll get timely updates on the meeting.

number 877-584-6835 or 702-948-8100 and reference APICS – Association of
Operations Management to reserve a room from the group block at the group rate.
Make sure you do so on or before 15 July 2008 to get the APICS negotiated
rate ($113 + Tax). Time is of the essence!
